Appropriates $200,000 to the Commissioner of Education in fiscal year 2018 and $200,000 in fiscal year 2019 for a grant to the For Jake's Sake Foundation.

Grant funds support collaboration with school districts to integrate evidence-based drug prevention instruction on opioids and heroin into health education curricula for grades 5, 7, and 9.

Funds must be used to identify and purchase a comprehensive drug prevention curriculum, train school district teachers in implementation, and evaluate curriculum effectiveness.

Requires the grantee to submit a report by February 15, 2018 to legislative committees detailing expenditures, outcomes, and which school districts have implemented or plan to implement the curriculum.
