Amends Minnesota Statutes section 126C.44 to increase the maximum safe schools levy from $36 to an unspecified amount multiplied by the district's adjusted pupil units.

Authorizes school districts to use safe schools levy proceeds for enhancing cybersecurity in the district's information systems as a new allowable purpose.

Maintains existing authorized uses of safe schools levy funds including peace officer salaries, drug abuse prevention, gang resistance education, security enhancements, mental health services, and facility security improvements.

Increases the intermediate school district safe schools authority from $15 to an unspecified amount times the adjusted pupil units of member districts.

Effective for levies payable in 2019 and later.
