Creates the Task Force on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, with members appointed by the commissioner of public safety in consultation with the Minnesota Indian Affairs Council by September 1, 2018.

Task force shall examine systemic causes of violence against indigenous women and girls, data collection methods, governmental policies and institutions impacting these communities, and measures to reduce violence and support healing.

Membership includes representatives from law enforcement, courts, tribal governments, health organizations, and at least two indigenous women survivors of gender violence, totaling at least 16 designated positions.

Task force shall submit annual reports to legislative committees beginning February 15, 2019, with recommendations to reduce violence and help victims and communities heal.

Appropriates unspecified general fund amount in fiscal year 2019 to the commissioner of public safety for implementation; task force expires June 30, 2024.
