Requires physicians to orally inform patients of the opportunity to view or decline to view an active ultrasound image of the unborn child if an ultrasound examination is performed prior to abortion or will be used during the abortion procedure.

Maintains existing informed consent requirements including disclosure of medical risks, gestational age, and risks of carrying pregnancy to term at least 24 hours before the procedure.

Requires written certification from the patient prior to abortion confirming she received required information and was informed of her opportunity to review state-provided printed materials.

Mandates physicians disclose any additional costs for anesthesia or analgesia and administer it if the patient consents.

Requires patients with fetuses diagnosed with fatal anomalies to be informed of available perinatal hospice services as an alternative to abortion.
