Commissioner of public safety must authorize deputy registrars to edit applicant personal information, vehicle classification and information, sale price, taxes and fees, and base value in MNLARS transactions.

Deputy registrars may edit transaction records until the end of the business day following the day the transaction was initially completed.

MNLARS must record which individual edited each transaction, the date and time of the edit, what information was changed, and include a notation indicating the transaction was edited.
