Amends Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 13.43, subdivision 8, to authorize disclosure of private personnel data to harassment complainants regarding investigation outcomes.

Allows complainants to receive information on whether allegations were substantiated and whether the allegations resulted in disciplinary or nondisciplinary corrective action.

Restricts complainants from further releasing received data except to courts, law enforcement agencies, prosecuting authorities, civil rights enforcement authorities, or their attorneys.

Data may only be shared with attorneys when relevant to obtaining restraining orders or pursuing other legal remedies.

Maintains existing protections preventing accused employees from accessing complainant or witness identifying information if such access would threaten personal safety or subject them to harassment.
