Appropriates $1,200,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the Public Facilities Authority for a grant to the city of Climax to connect to the Marshall-Polk Rural Water System for drinking water.

Grant funds may be used for acquiring real property interests, predesign, design, engineering, construction, and equipment of the water system connection.

Appropriation is conditional on the commissioner of management and budget determining that sufficient resources have been committed to complete the project per Minnesota Statutes section 16A.502.

Authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $1,200,000 to fund the appropriation, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes sections 16A.631 to 16A.675 and the Minnesota Constitution article XI, sections 4 to 7.

Effective the day following final enactment.
