Requires teachers holding Tier 1 licenses to participate in cultural competency training within one year of initial license approval as a condition of renewal.

Requires teachers holding Tier 2 licenses to participate in cultural competency training before first renewal and must include cultural competency in individual growth and development plans.

Requires applicants for Tier 3 and Tier 4 license renewal to demonstrate professional growth in cultural competence as a condition of relicensure.

Exempts teachers in career and technical education or career pathways courses from the content examination requirement for Tier 1 license renewal.
