Appropriates $25,765,000 from the clean water legacy fund for fiscal year 2019 to protect and restore Minnesota's water resources.

Appropriations available until June 30, 2022, with extended availability if projects receive federal funds; returned grant funds must be regranted for the same purpose.

Board of Water and Soil Resources receives $24,422,000 for: $5,000,000 in drinking water source protection grants; $15,000,000 for conservation easements and water treatment/storage projects; and $4,422,000 in performance-based grants to local government units.

Department of Natural Resources receives $1,000,000 for purposes specified in Minnesota Statutes section 84.66.

University of Minnesota receives $343,000 to develop evaluation tools measuring the clean water fund's return on investment and impacts on water quality and human well-being.
