Extends school facility levy authority for member districts of the Technology and Information Educational Services regional joint powers board for taxes payable in 2019 to 2023, allowing them to levy for lease costs of buildings and land used for staff development purposes.

Limits total annual levy authority under this provision to the lesser of $632,000 or the remaining lease purchase amounts owed on the facility.

Allows districts to levy for their portion of lease costs within the existing total levy limit established in Minnesota Statutes section 126C.40, subdivision 1, paragraph (e).

Applies to leases entered into during the period from calendar year 2012 through dissolution of the Technology and Information Educational Services joint powers board.

Effective July 1, 2018.
