Amends Minnesota Statutes section 363A.03, subdivision 43, to clarify the definition of sexual harassment under state human rights law.

Adds new language specifying that an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment does not require the harassing conduct or communication to be severe or pervasive.

Maintains existing three-part test for sexual harassment: when submission is a condition of obtaining employment, housing, education, or public services; when submission or rejection affects employment or housing decisions; or when conduct substantially interferes with work, housing, education, or creates a hostile environment.

Effective August 1, 2018, and applies to all causes of action arising on or after that date.
