Amends Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 169.71, subdivision 4, regarding window glazing restrictions on motor vehicles registered in Minnesota.

Adds new exception for window glazing materials required to satisfy prescription or medical needs of the driver or passenger, provided the vehicle's driver or passenger possesses a prescription or physician's statement of medical need available in the vehicle.

Requires the prescription or statement to identify the specific motor vehicle being operated and state the minimum percentage that light transmittance may be reduced.

Requires prescriptions or statements to contain an expiration date of no more than two years after issuance.

Maintains existing exceptions for unmodified original windows, pickup truck rear windows, van rear and side windows, funeral vehicle windows, limousine windows, and police vehicle windows.
