Authorizes school districts to renew annual food service management contracts with food service management companies for up to three additional years beyond the initial term, provided the contracts comply with Code of Federal Regulations, title 7, section 210.16.

Modifies existing law to exclude food service management contracts from the standard two-year contract limit with an option to renew for an additional two years that applies to other district supply and service contracts.

Applies to all contracts entered into on or after July 1, 2017.
