Establishes a grant program to support school districts in paying agricultural education teachers for summer work with high school students in extended programs.

Commissioner of Education shall develop application forms, criteria for grant allocation, and establish appropriate goals for grant use.

Grant funding must be matched by the school district and is limited to one-half share of 40 working days per teacher.

School districts receiving grants must report annually by December 31 to the commissioner on the number of teachers funded and outcomes compared to established goals.

Appropriates $500,000 for fiscal year 2018 and $500,000 for fiscal year 2019 from the general fund, with unused first-year balance carrying over to the second year.
