Amends Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 151.212, subdivision 2 to require additional labeling on prescription drugs containing opiates dispensed for outpatient use.

Requires pharmacies and practitioners dispensing opioid-containing prescription drugs to prominently display on the label or container a notice stating "Caution: Opioid. Risk of overdose and addiction."

Maintains existing requirements for controlled substances to display warnings about motor vehicle impairment on drug labels, with board-specified exemptions when evidence shows the user will not operate a motor vehicle.

Board of Pharmacy authorized to determine which other drugs, either alone or in combination with alcohol, may impair motor vehicle operation and require similar warnings.
