• Appropriates $1,000 in fiscal year 2018 and $1,000 in fiscal year 2019 from the state government special revenue fund to the Board of Medical Practice for licensing activities under Minnesota Statutes, section 147.0375.

• Repeals Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 147.0375, subdivision 7, which previously set an expiration date of July 1, 2018 for the medical faculty license.

• Makes the medical faculty license permanent by removing the sunset provision that would have terminated the licensing authority.

• Effective the day following final enactment.
