Senate resolution honoring Taylor Hayden, who graduated from Wayzata High School in 2009 and Prairie View A&M in 2014, and was active in various organizations including Jack & Jill of Minneapolis and the Minnesota Links.

Taylor worked for Enterprise Corporation in Houston and was recognized for her leadership; she was a member of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church in Houston and Living Word Church in St. Paul.

Taylor passed away on July 23, 2016, at age 25, with her legacy continued through the Taylor Hayden Memorial Foundation to End Gun Violence.

Senate extends deepest sympathies and condolences to Taylor's family and friends.

Secretary of the Senate directed to prepare an enrolled copy of the resolution, authenticated by the Secretary and Senate Rules and Administration Committee Chair, and transmitted to Taylor's family.
