Congratulates the Delano High School boys' basketball team for winning the 2018 State High School Class 3A boys' basketball championship, the school's first state championship.

Delano defeated Colombia Heights Hylanders 65-61 in the championship finals on March 24, 2018, at Target Center after erasing a 13-point halftime deficit with a 1-3-1 zone defense.

Keegan O'Neill led Delano with 30 points and 12 rebounds in the championship game.

Unseeded Delano finished the regular season 21-11 and defeated the Nos. 2, 3, and 4 seeds en route to winning the title.

Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an enrolled copy of the resolution to be transmitted to Coach Techam and the principal of Delano High School.
