Designates May 14, 2018, as Minnesota SGU Hmong and Lao Memorial Day to honor the Hmong and Lao hill tribes recruited by the CIA as the Special Guerrilla Unit (SGU) from 1961 to 1975 during the Vietnam War.

Commemorates the SGU's military contributions, including intercepting enemy supply lines and rescuing American pilots, and honors their sacrifices following the U.S. withdrawal from Southeast Asia.

Recognizes the exodus and displacement of Hmong and Lao people after 1975, including approximately 40,000 deaths and the subsequent diaspora to countries including France, Canada, Australia, Argentina, and the United States.

Acknowledges Minnesota's significant Hmong community as one of the largest in the United States and celebrates their establishment of vibrant communities and contributions to the state and nation.
