House commends Governor Tim Walz for his leadership during the COVID-19 outbreak and encourages him to continue using all available legal tools to keep Minnesotans healthy, safe, and secure.

House declares its readiness to be called into regular or special session to assist the governor in responding to the outbreak or further defining the governor's emergency powers.

House declines to exercise its right to terminate the peacetime emergency declared by Executive Order 20-01 under Minnesota Statutes section 12.31, subdivision 2, paragraph (b).

House waives its right to terminate the peacetime emergency for 30 days from the date the resolution is adopted.

Chief Clerk of the House is directed to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to the Governor and Secretary of the Senate.
