Amends Minnesota's lemon law (section 325F.665) to add definitions for "standard maintenance" (oils, fluids, tires, batteries, filters), "early termination costs," and "motor vehicle lessor."

Clarifies that manufacturers cannot use unauthorized modifications or alterations as a defense to lemon law claims, explicitly excluding standard maintenance from that defense.

Reduces the repair threshold for safety-critical defects (braking or steering systems) from four repair attempts to one attempt within two years to establish a presumption of reasonable repair attempts.

Effective August 1, 2019, applying to new motor vehicles sold on or after that date.
