Designates May as Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month in Minnesota to recognize pregnancy and postpartum mental health issues and promote public education.

Establishes that up to one-third of mothers report symptoms of pregnancy and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders annually, with many cases going unreported due to misunderstanding.

Identifies pregnancy and postpartum mood disorders as widespread but treatable illnesses that, if left untreated, can negatively affect birth outcomes, infant development, and family well-being.

Authorizes the governor to promote and encourage observance of Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month.
