Appropriates $492,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $492,000 in fiscal year 2021 from the general fund to the commissioner of administration for community service grants to public educational radio stations.

Appropriates $142,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $142,000 in fiscal year 2021 from the general fund to the commissioner of administration for equipment grants to public educational radio stations for purchase, repair, and rental of equipment including items under $500.

Prohibits institutions or governing bodies from claiming indirect costs against these grants.

Requires grant allocation to be determined after considering recommendations from the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations per Minnesota Statutes sections 129D.14 and 129.14.
