Requires school districts and charter schools to develop written seizure action plans for students with diagnosed seizure disorders whose parents notify the school.

Mandates schools identify at least one employee per school site on duty during the entire school day who can administer or assist with FDA-approved seizure rescue medications.

Requires training for designated employees on seizure medications, recognition of seizure signs and symptoms, and appropriate response procedures.

Requires schools to provide self-study materials on seizure disorder to all licensed school nurses and other staff working with students with seizure disorders.

Effective for the 2021-2022 school year and later.
