Defines "hard cider" as a beverage produced through alcoholic fermentation of any fruit or fruit juice, containing 0.5% to 7% alcohol by volume, sold in bottles, cases, kegs, cans, or other containers used for malt liquor.

Allows licensed wine manufacturers to sell hard cider at on-sale or off-sale locations made on their licensed premises without an additional license and without requiring Minnesota-grown agricultural products.

Exempts hard cider sales from the Minnesota-grown requirement that currently applies to wine sales by licensed manufacturers.

Both sections effective the day following final enactment.
