Amends Minnesota Statutes section 136D.01 to simplify the definition of "intermediate school district" by replacing references to specific 1967-1969 laws with a reference to "this chapter."

Amends section 136D.49 to clarify that intermediate school boards may provide services defined in section 123A.21, subdivisions 7 and 8, in addition to their listed powers.

Directs the revisor of statutes to renumber all provisions of chapter 136D (intermediate school districts) to chapter 123C, affecting 30+ statutory sections and subdivisions.

Requires the revisor to make necessary cross-reference changes throughout Minnesota Statutes to maintain consistency with the renumbering and to codify any further 2019 amendments accordingly.

Repeals Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 136D.93, which contained duplicate provisions regarding intermediate school district membership and powers.
