Allows solo-owned business entities to request in writing that all addresses submitted to the secretary of state be omitted from the website's public display.

Eligibility requires the business entity to have only one shareholder, member, manager, or owner who is a natural person, and at least one submitted address must be the owner's residential address.

Secretary of state must post notice of this option with a link to the request form on its website and attach the form to all paper business filing forms that require address submission.

Does not change data classification under Minnesota chapter 13; addresses remain available to the public through telephone, mail, e-mail, and facsimile transmission requests.

Effective August 1, 2019, for business entity filings submitted to the secretary of state on or after that date.
