Appropriates $9,425,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $9,425,000 in fiscal year 2021 from the arts and cultural heritage fund for statewide historic and cultural grants to local, county, regional, or other historical organizations, distributed through a competitive grant process.

Appropriates $9,425,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $9,425,000 in fiscal year 2021 for historic and cultural programs and purposes related to the heritage of the state.

Appropriates $3,500,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $3,500,000 in fiscal year 2021 for history partnerships involving multiple organizations to preserve and enhance access to Minnesota's history and cultural heritage in all regions of the state.

Appropriates $750,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $750,000 in fiscal year 2021 for competitively awarded contracts to conduct statewide surveys or investigations of Minnesota's historical, archeological, and cultural sites, with results published in searchable form and available to the public at no cost.

Appropriates $500,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $500,000 in fiscal year 2021 for a digital library project to preserve, digitize, and share Minnesota images, documents, and historical materials in cooperation with the Minitex interlibrary loan system.
