Proposes a constitutional amendment to limit Minnesota state legislators to a maximum of 12 years of service in the legislature.

Limits the governor and lieutenant governor to two terms (8 years maximum) by prohibiting candidates from filing for a third term.

Limits the secretary of state, attorney general, and state auditor to two terms (8 years maximum) by prohibiting candidates from filing for a third term.

Amendment must be submitted to voters at the 2020 general election with the question: "Shall the Minnesota Constitution be amended to place limits on the terms of office of state legislators and executive officers?"

Term limits apply to terms beginning in 2021 and thereafter, with legislative terms ending before or in 2021 and executive terms ending before or in 2023 excluded from the count.
