Allows an eligible St. Cloud State University employee to purchase 1.35 years of service credit with the Teacher Retirement Association for the period of August 28, 2006, through January 13, 2008.

Eligible person must have been employed at St. Cloud State University on March 1, 2018, and been a Teachers Retirement Association member on that same date.

The employee must have taken leave from St. Cloud State University during the August 28, 2006, through January 13, 2008, period and provided services to the United States State Department and Treasury Department during that leave.

Authority to make the service credit purchase expires one year from the effective date of the legislation.

Provision is effective the day following final enactment.
