Adds exemption for prizes awarded in connection with lawful gambling as defined in section 349.12, effective for sales and purchases made after June 30, 2019.

Exempts the lease or purchase of gambling equipment by organizations licensed to conduct lawful gambling under chapter 349 from sales and use tax, effective for sales and purchases made after June 30, 2019.

Clarifies that prize exemptions do not apply to the State Lottery and removes redundant language from existing statute.

Makes technical amendment to section 297E.02 subdivision 3 regarding collection and disposition of gambling taxes, effective July 1, 2019.
