Amends Minnesota Statutes section 626A.08, subdivision 2 to carve out electronic location tracking warrants from general sealing and disclosure requirements, instead governing them under section 626A.42, subdivision 4.

Amends Minnesota Statutes section 626A.37, subdivision 4 to exempt orders involving location information of electronic devices from nondisclosure requirements that otherwise apply to pen registers, trap and trace devices, and mobile tracking devices.

Electronic location tracking warrant applications and orders are governed by section 626A.42, subdivision 4 for filing, sealing, and reporting purposes, while non-location-related portions continue to follow existing sealed warrant procedures.

Both amendments become effective the day following final enactment.
