• Establishes a special veterans license plate for recipients of the Air Medal, inscribed with a facsimile of the medal and bearing the inscription "AIR MEDAL VETERAN" directly below the special plate number.

• Amends Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 168.123, subdivision 2, to add the Air Medal plate option to existing special veteran license plate categories.

• Applies to Air Medal veteran special license plates issued on or after January 1, 2021.

• The Commissioner of Veterans Affairs shall design the emblem for the plate, subject to approval of the Commissioner of Public Safety.
