Requires appraisal management company applications to include information necessary for the commissioner to collect and transmit National Registry fees to the Appraisal Subcommittee.

Adds a new exemption for appraisal management companies that are subsidiaries owned and controlled by federally regulated financial institutions, but requires them to provide National Registry fees and information to the commissioner.

Modifies the fee retention statute to clarify that the commissioner retains fees except as provided in subdivision 2, paragraph (c), which addresses National Registry fee collection.

Authorizes the commissioner to collect from both state-licensed and federally regulated appraisal management companies any fees and information required by the Appraisal Subcommittee for the National Registry and transmit them to the Appraisal Subcommittee.
