Working group must analyze special education enrollment trends, funding mechanisms, section 504 plan usage, medication practices, and the 2013 Office of the Legislative Auditor special education report recommendations

Comprises 12 members: 6 House representatives (3 from majority, 3 from minority leadership) and 6 senators (3 from majority, 3 from minority leadership), with education committee chairs serving as co-chairs

Requires working group to submit findings and policy recommendations to the legislature by January 15, 2021

Working group expires January 16, 2021, unless extended by law; all meetings must be open to the public
