Permits elementary and secondary school pupils and prekindergarten children enrolled in the medical cannabis registry program to possess and self-administer medical cannabis on school grounds if compliant with school board policies and a Department of Health standardized form is submitted

Restricts self-administration of medical cannabis on school grounds to pupils age 18 and older; younger children may only have cannabis administered by school personnel

Protects school nurses, public health nurses, and school personnel from criminal penalties, civil penalties, and disciplinary action solely for storing, dispensing, or administering medical cannabis according to school board policies

Directs the commissioner of health, in consultation with the commissioner of education, to develop a standardized form completed by a health care practitioner and pharmacist specifying the child's qualifying condition, dosage, frequency of administration, and other relevant information

Maintains prohibition on medical cannabis possession on school buses and in correctional facilities and child care facilities; restricts vaporizing in public places and around nonpatient minor children
