Requires schools to notify staff, students, and parents of environmental hazards within their buildings as soon as practicable after receiving notification from the Department of Health or Pollution Control Agency.

Applies to school districts, charter schools, and nonpublic schools.

Notice must include directions on how to obtain additional information about the hazard and any actions that may reduce potential harm.

Creates new statute 121A.336 in Minnesota law governing environmental hazard notification procedures.
