Increases daily compensation for members of boards under Minnesota Statutes section 15.0575 from $55 to $100 per day, effective July 1, 2020, with a further increase to $125 per day beginning July 1, 2025.

Increases daily compensation for members of advisory councils and committees under Minnesota Statutes section 15.059 from $55 to $100 per day, effective July 1, 2020, with a further increase to $125 per day beginning January 1, 2025.

Allows any multimember body established by law to authorize compensation at $100 per day effective July 1, 2020, and $125 per day beginning July 1, 2025, if the body currently authorizes a lower daily rate.

Permits reimbursement of child care expenses incurred as a result of board, council, or committee attendance upon authorization by the respective body.

Prohibits state and political subdivision employees from receiving daily compensation for activities during working hours for which they are already compensated, unless they use vacation or compensatory time.
