Commissioner of human services shall develop a plan to streamline and minimize required paperwork for child protection cases and out-of-home placements subject to the federal Indian Child Welfare Act and Minnesota Indian Family Preservation Act

Plan must include a proposed timeline and summary of necessary resources to implement paperwork reduction measures

Commissioner shall partner with counties, local social services agencies, tribal social services agencies, private child-placing agencies, and other stakeholders in developing the plan

Plan shall include procedures to ensure continued stakeholder input is considered in the improvement process

Planned improvements must maximize benefits and utility for children in placement, foster care providers, tribes, counties, and private child-placing agencies
