Reduces Minnesota Agricultural Education Leadership Council membership from 17 to 16 members by removing the representative of the Minnesota Private Colleges Council.

Changes the University of Minnesota agricultural education program representative from "the chair" to "a representative of an agricultural education program at a higher education institution that prepares agriculture teachers for licensure" to allow broader institutional participation.

Updates terminology throughout the statute by replacing "agriculture" with "agricultural education" in references to council duties, grant programs, and the Minnesota Center for Agriculture Education.

Simplifies legislative committee representation on the council by removing separate ranking minority member positions and consolidating references to committees "with jurisdiction over agriculture" or education.

Maintains all other council powers and duties including grant administration, center governance, resource and outreach programs, and annual reporting to legislative committees.
