Requires responsible authorities to destroy all medical assistance welfare data more than ten years old for individuals who received medical assistance benefits during the prior ten years, with exceptions for those who received nursing facility services or home and community-based services.

Directs responsible authorities to destroy medical assistance welfare data collected between January 1, 2014, and June 30, 2016, for individuals who were age 52 or older as of July 1, 2013, and newly eligible for medical assistance on January 1, 2014, under specified legislation.

Exempts individuals from data destruction requirements if they received nursing facility services or home and community-based services at any time during the applicable periods.

Applies data destruction requirements to all component parts of the welfare system as defined in Minnesota Statutes section 13.46, subdivision 1.
