Amends Minnesota Statutes section 424A.02, subdivision 3 to increase maximum lump-sum service pension amounts for volunteer firefighter relief associations, with new tables establishing pension maximums based on available financing per firefighter.

For lump-sum pensions, increases maximum from $10,000 per year of service to $15,000 per year of service at the highest financing threshold ($8,097 minimum average available financing per firefighter).

Establishes flexible service pension maximums for both monthly and lump-sum pensions tied to three-year average available financing calculations, which include fire state aid, municipal contributions, and surplus assets.

Relief associations may continue prior pension amounts if financing is subsequently reduced, but cannot increase pensions until financing levels permit under the new tables.

Repeals Laws 2018, chapter 211, article 14, section 29 (previous lump-sum pension cap of $12,500); effective January 1, 2021.
