Appropriates $2,000,000 from the state transportation fund bond proceeds account to the commissioner of transportation for a grant to Sherburne County.

Funds support environmental documentation, preliminary engineering, and final design of local road portions of a proposed highway interchange at U.S. Highway 169 and Sherburne County State-Aid Highway 4 in Zimmerman.

Remaining funds after design completion may be used to acquire right-of-way needed for the local road portions of the interchange project.

Authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $2,000,000 to provide the appropriated funds in accordance with Minnesota Statutes sections 16A.631 to 16A.675 and the Minnesota Constitution.

Takes effect the day following final enactment.
