Prohibits the state commissioner from requiring vendors providing electrical inspection services to obtain extended reporting period coverage for professional technical errors or omission insurance policies.

Applies to all state contracts with electrical inspection service vendors executed by or under the supervision of the commissioner or an agency.

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 16C.28, subdivision 1, by adding new paragraph (c) with the prohibition on mandatory extended reporting coverage requirements.
