• Creates a new subdivision 4b authorizing county auditors to convey conservation easements as defined in section 84C.01 on tax-forfeited land under terms and conditions prescribed by the county board.

• Includes reversion provisions allowing conservation easements to revert in the event of nonuse by the lessee or grantee.

• Authorizes county boards to prescribe all terms and conditions for the leasing and conveyance of conservation easements on tax-forfeited property.
