Appropriates $1,020,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Eveleth for municipal building renovations.

Covers predesign, design, construction, renovation, and equipment for five municipal buildings: city hall/police station, Carnegie library, fire/ambulance hall, Hippodrome ice arena, and city auditorium.

Specific improvements include HVAC system renovation or replacement, roof replacement, carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide detection system installation, exterior masonry restoration, and public restroom renovation.

State funding is contingent upon the city of Eveleth committing at least $1,020,000 in nonstate sources to complete the project.

Authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $1,020,000 to provide the appropriated funds, effective the day following final enactment.
