Amends Minnesota Statutes section 609.66, subdivision 1e to clarify felony drive-by shooting offenses committed while in or exiting a motor vehicle.

Establishes three categories of drive-by shooting: discharging at an unoccupied motor vehicle or building (up to 3 years imprisonment or $6,000 fine); at an occupied motor vehicle or building (up to 10 years imprisonment or $20,000 fine); or at another person (up to 10 years imprisonment or $20,000 fine).

Defines "motor vehicle" and "building" by reference to existing Minnesota Statutes sections 609.52 and 609.581.
