Modifies Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 103D.631, subdivision 2, regarding watershed district maintenance funds.

Managers may assess property parcels and municipal corporations previously assessed for project benefits to establish a maintenance fund, made pro rata according to benefits determined.

Assessment for maintenance fund may not be made when the fund exceeds 20 percent of the original construction or implementation cost of the project.

Changes requirement for managers from "may" to "must" give notice of a hearing before ordering the levy of an assessment for the maintenance fund.
