H.F. 4411 Summary

• Amends Minnesota Statutes 2019 Supplement, section 97A.505, subdivision 8, regarding importation of hunter-harvested Cervidae (deer family) carcasses into Minnesota

• Prohibits importing whole hunter-harvested Cervidae carcasses into Minnesota with limited exceptions for cut and wrapped meat, quarters or other meat portions with no spinal column or head attached, antlers, hides, teeth, finished taxidermy mounts, and cleaned skull caps with antlers

• Allows nonresidents to transport Cervidae carcasses originating from outside Minnesota on a direct route through the state

• Changes statutory language from "taken" to "originating from" when referring to carcasses transported through the state by nonresidents
