Amends Minnesota Statutes section 62Q.675 to expand hearing aid coverage to individuals older than 18 years of age for hearing loss not correctable by other covered procedures.

Limits coverage to one hearing aid in each ear every three years, with additional hearing aids covered within the three-year period if a physician or audiologist certifies medical necessity due to a change in hearing.

Prohibits health plans from imposing special deductibles, coinsurance, co-payments, or other limitations on hearing aid coverage that are not generally applicable to other plan coverages.

Effective January 1, 2020, and applies to health plans issued, offered, or renewed on or after that date.
